I wasn’t a child when you sent your- what was she, sister? Random woman obsessed with you?- whatever, I wasn’t a child when you sent her to rape me for your heir, was I?

Because that makes you a sicker man than I’d given you credit for.

Previously, I refused to respond due to the profound degree of offense in the tone you took with me. Such instances you speak of do not ring familiar to my memory; I would not be lambasted for actions I have had little investment in nor concern for.

Such matters are barely of importance now, you should not distract yourself with them unless you wish to focus so much upon the past that you lose sight of your immediate future.

As a man of business I am sure you understand the meaning behind my words. I trust you have no objection? There are certain… obstacles in our way, of which the removal would be most beneficial to the both of us. Of this, I am sure.

Yes, I understand and the allying of yours truly could come in handy for the time when I wish to strike. Though..of course, you’d forgive me, for asking what your goals are before I reveal my own.

‘The man who removes a mountain begins by carrying away small stones.’

A Chinese proverb; a most astute one at that. We are plagued by the repeated impediment of those who wear their masks for all to see, and their permanent removal remains my primary objective. This first task must be achieved before my central goal, my ‘mountain’, may be addressed. I have learnt this through countless mishaps in these past years; occurrences I now tire of greatly, a sentiment I am sure you share.

You should know of this central aim of mine, that which lies beyond the immediate problem of the vigilantes. I seek the betterment of this planet’s civilization. For this, I believe a New World Order is required. The societies of these petty countries are corrupt, venomous in inclination and reprehensible in conduct. I regard you as an enlightened politician, one who may perhaps rekindle my faith in the ability of man to deny his faults and guide the world to an existence that respects the fruits of knowledge, judgement and foresight.

I could aid you in becoming such a figure, should it align with your own sentiments.

My only sin is to act upon the concern I have for this world, my refusal to watch it slip into the abyss, and be lost to the flames of decadence and greed…
